Botulinum toxin treatments (widely known as Botox® treatments) are non-surgical treatments that decrease the appearance of dynamic facial lines and wrinkles. Botox® is mainly used to improve the appearance of facial lines in the areas of the forehead,  the Glabella (area between the eyebrows) and the “crow’s feet” (area around the eyes). However, its use has additionally shown great results in the treatment of the “gummy smile” and also significant improvement of the symptoms caused by bruxism (grinding/clenching of the teeth).

The Botox® results are evident after 2-3 days, while a maximum result is achieved 14 days after the treatment. The treatment is quite painless, has minimum contra-indications, usually requires 1 or 2 sessions to be completed and the result can last up to 6 months.
